Informative tool

Informative tool are platform or application that provide all kind of information in various form such as images, video, audio, text and graphs. In the context of education, ICT as informative tools mean use of technology to enhance the acquisition, processing and dissemination of information in educational setting. Some of the example are, learning management system(LMS), educational software(PhET simulation), zoom meeting and google classroom. In our traditional classroom, an informative tools for students and teachers are textbook with limited information along with few black and white images. With rapidly evolving technologies, it became easier for both teachers and student as there are lots of platforms where they can extract information anytime and everywhere, and even if students are not able to grasp knowledge from textbook and what teacher is saying then they can search from others informative tools like internet and watch video tutorial. 


 It is image and it refers to visual representation of information such as drawing, pictures and photograph. It can capture attention easily and evoke information faster.


It is audio or sound. It is used to describe any sound or noise in a range the human ear can capable of hearing. Sound helps us to improve pronunciation, build imagination and creative mind.




It is a video and it refers to digital recoding moving visual media and images that run in computer or TV. 





Integrating informative tools in classroom setting is very important as it enhanced engagement and motivate students when use educational games and simulation. Informative tools can be customized to cater to individual learning styles, preference and pace. And collaborative tools such as virtual classroom and online discussion forums facilitate communication and teamwork among students. Integrating informative tools enhanced accessibility, critical thinking, digital literacy and career readiness among students.

While informative tools have numerous benefit, they also come with certain limitation. Since informative tools are reliant on technology, technical issues such as internet connectivity issue, hardware malfunction, or power outage can disrupt learning process. Addition to that, over-reliance on informative tools can lead to a dependence on technology, where in absent of technology students may struggle to do their assignment and practical by hands-on practice.


By integrating informative tools such as text, images, video, sound and animation in our presentation, teachers or presenter can create dynamic, engaging and effective communication experiences that resonate with their audiences or students, enhancing engagement and leave a lasting impression. 

Animation

In following PowerPoint presentation, I insert sounds, images and videos. And made it as animation. PowerPoint animations can be considered as informative tools because they enhance the presentation of information, making it more engaging, memorable, and easier to understand.
